7 quick tips for organizing your bathroom

1.) Use light colors to make your bedroom appear larger and airy. Avoid bright, striking colors such as bright red, bright orange or neon green as they will distract you and can cause sleep problems. Choose calming colors such as pale green, yellow or blue and cream colors.
2.) Use smaller furniture in your bedroom. Large furniture such as king-sized beds, giant plush sofas and massive wardrobes will take up more space and make your bedroom appear smaller.
3.) Choose furniture color that blends in with your wall color so your bedroom will appear more comfortable and larger. Use built-in storage for more space and make sure its color blends in with the room to 'hide' your storage solution.
4.) Use light-colored curtains or blinds for your bedroom windows.
5.) Air your bedroom at least once a day. If convenient, keep the windows slightly opened when you're around or if not feasible, insert an air-extraction system so that your bedroom will always have fresh air. A stale and musty bedroom is bad for health.
6.) Change your bedsheets often. Air your pillows and duvets. Check your mattress to make sure it's still springy and not damaged. Replace old mattresses with new ones for hygiene and better sleep.
7.) Avoid having your electrical and electronic equipment in your bedroom - that means, your 40-inch LCD TV should be in your living room! TVs, radios and computers will disrupt your sleep. Let your bedroom be a haven to rest in.
